LocalGlobe is one of the most active seed stage investors in the UK, founded and led by renowned investors, Robin and Saul Klein. Our challenge was to raise the profile of the other partners in the firm, while developing LocalGlobe’s reputation as ecosystem champions who want to share the benefits of European tech with as many people as possible.
As the retained agency for LocalGlobe, we work closely with the founding partner and have an ongoing, long-term strategy for raising the profiles of the firm as it evolves, particularly making its partners and portfolio companies better known. This strategy is underpinned by our content-led, multi-platform approach covering brand narrative, thought leadership, data and news pipelines and speaking events. Our team of editors spend dedicated time working directly with partners and portfolio companies to develop their personal brands, creating individual messaging that contributes to the wider vision.
Building a narrative around LocalGlobe’s values and desire to be a good neighbour has helped to differentiate the fund in a competitive area of venture and cut through as a fund, securing tier 1 coverage in the likes of the Sunday Times, Wired, TechCrunch, The Telegraph and Sifted. By leaning into LocalGlobe’s location in the heart of one of London’s most deprived boroughs, we have shaped a compelling story that helps the fund stand apart from competitors. Emphasising the firm’s strengths in healthtech, fintech, diversity and its visionary ideas has also helped us create strong narratives for each partner – leading to increased deal flow and fruitful partnerships with local and national organisations.
