Nothing launched to much fanfare in the tech and gadgets publications as the new project by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, with plans to upend consumer devices as we know them. The company wanted to expand its influence from the tech pages into leading business publications.


Burlington handled the UK corporate comms for Nothing to build the brand’s recognition and influence. We led announcements for the company’s new Head of Design, Series B rounds and the launch of Nothing’s smartphone, the first one to be built by a UK company in nearly a decade.


Burlington secured coverage for Nothing across leading business and tech titles. This included Sifted, Forbes, Daily Mail, Press Association, Evening Standard, Fortune, Axios, The Sun, The Independent, The Verge, and Daily Telegraph, among others. This was used to lay the groundwork ahead of the product going on sale and drive consumer and investor awareness.
